Privacy Policy
Effective [effective date — to be set]
This site is a small, private practice. The information you share here is used to respond to you personally, and for no other purpose. It is not sold, and it is not shared with third parties except as necessary to run the site and to reply.
What is collected
When you use the contact form, request a private valuation, request the relocation guide, or subscribe to the Journal, the details you enter are collected — typically name, email address, phone number where provided, and the message or property information you choose to share. When you use one of the tools (for example, the carrying-cost estimator), the values you enter are processed in your browser to produce the result and are not stored on the server.
The site may also collect basic technical information — such as IP address, browser, and pages viewed — to keep the site running, to prevent abuse, and to understand which content is useful. Where analytics are in use, that information is aggregated and not tied to your name.
How it is used
What you send is used to answer you, to send you the guide or note you requested, and — if you have subscribed to the Journal — to send occasional editorial notes on the New Hampshire market. Your information is not used for advertising to you and is not sold or rented to anyone.
Third-party processors
Running a modern website requires a small number of trusted service providers — for hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process information only on our behalf, under their own terms and security practices, and only to the extent needed to operate the service.
Retention and removal
Inquiries and correspondence are retained for as long as is reasonable to serve you. To have your information removed from our records, or to unsubscribe from the Journal at any time, please send a note through the contact form — a reply will confirm the change.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies and local storage necessary to make it work, and — where analytics are in use — a small number of analytics cookies. Most browsers allow you to disable cookies through their settings if you prefer.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time; material changes will be noted with a new effective date at the top of this page.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or about the information held about you, are best sent through the contact form — Michael will reply personally.
