The Advisor

New Hampshire, lived welland ready to be shared.

The founder of one of the brokerages that defined the state's real estate. A career's experience, put to work for his clients. One patient way of working.

Portrait of Michael Bean
Experience

He has seen this marketfrom every side.

Michael has held a New Hampshire real estate license since 2001 — learning the state's shorelines, villages, and back roads from the inside, one transaction at a time.

In December of 2003 he founded Bean Group. Over the two decades that followed, it grew into one of the brokerages that defined New England real estate: hundreds of agents across New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont, and a place on the Inc. 5000 list nine separate times.

That work gave him a vantage almost no practicing advisor holds — operating at the level of the entire New Hampshire brokerage landscape, and shaping the systems and standards under which thousands of transactions were done.

Today, Michael brings that experience directly to his clients — and, with a curated team of associates who hold to the same standard, sees that nothing slips through the details of a move. Through eXp and its global network, that reach extends wherever a client needs it: to the right home, wherever it happens to be.

How I work
The Difference

Three things a client is quietly buying, all at once.

01The Builder

An industry architect on your side.

Michael did not simply work in New Hampshire real estate — he helped build the market others work in. Founding Bean Group in December 2003 and growing it into a firm of hundreds of agents across four states gave clients a rare thing: an advisor whose vantage on the entire New Hampshire landscape is the one they now have working for them.

02The Modern Practitioner

Sharper decisions, quietly made.

A career spent operating a modern brokerage means clients get an instinct for what the numbers actually say — and a working fluency with the tools, data, technology, and increasingly AI, that make sharper decisions possible. The judgment is old-world. The instruments are current. The benefit is a clearer read on their move.

03The Connector

Access others don't have.

Through eXp and its specialized divisions — eXp Luxury, eXp Commercial, eXp Farms & Land, and eXp Sports & Entertainment — and a trusted network of top producers, Michael can quietly place the right introduction wherever a client needs it. This is the original meaning of the word broker — and the practical benefit is a door opened for a client that a search portal could not have opened in a lifetime.

Roots

Rooted in New Hampshire —and quietly at home in it.

A West Coast native, Michael has called New Hampshire home for his entire adult life.

Michael served as a former board member of Crossroads House in Portsmouth, the community's homeless and transitional shelter — the kind of unglamorous work that quietly shapes a life.

He has lived in Portsmouth's Tucker's Cove neighborhood since 2005, with a second New Hampshire home in Hopkinton. For more than twenty years he has been a member of Wentworth by the Sea Country Club — a long-standing seat in the community he serves.

At home is his wife Julie, herself a Bean Group agent and team leader; a daughter starting high school; and Chappy, their ten-year-old Golden Retriever. A frequent third home in Naples, Southwest Florida, keeps him fluent in a very different coastal market — and useful when a client's needs travel south.

An Aside

On the pursuit of the finest example of a category.

Away from the work, Michael is a serious high-performance driving enthusiast. He has completed multiple Lamborghini Accademia programs — track sessions at the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife, laps at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and winter driving in Aspen.

He mentions it here for one reason. The same eye that studies a great road, a well-engineered machine, or the finest example of a category is the eye he brings to a home. Precision, restraint, and a quiet insistence on the right one — not the loud one.

Inquire

The right introductionbegins with a quiet conversation.

Private inquiries are welcomed by appointment. Every conversation begins in confidence.
